Disney Home Rentals: The Economical Way to Enjoy a
Disney World Vacation
By Mark Whichard
A vacation in Disney World in Florida is the dream
of many people but the costs of a vacation in the Orlando area can
really add up if you are not careful. One of the best ways to cut costs,
while not taking away from the fun, is to get a rental home near Disney
World, rather than rent a hotel room or rooms. In case you are not
familiar with this accommodation option, let me explain the important
points.
The Disney home rentals are fully furnished, fully
equipped condominiums and villas with from two to seven bedrooms. While
I am emphasizing that you are going to save money by choosing a rental
home rather than a hotel, you are actually going to gain in space and in
comfort.
Instead of being cramped into one or two rooms, you
and your family will have an entire house at your disposal. For example,
you can have a rental home with three bedrooms, two baths, a living
room, dining room, kitchen and private pool. The home is fully
furnished, air conditioned, has a fully equipped kitchen, and digital
cable TV.
Think of what that means. Your children can have
their own rooms and sleep soundly. You can get a meal or snack whenever
you like, and swim in your own pool. You will have spacious, luxurious
accommodations with all the amenities you can imagine.
In case you are thinking that you will get these
advantages, but sacrifice in location, then you are dead wrong. These
vacation homes are located within 15 minutes of Disney World, in a
resort community that has a shopping plaza which includes a 24-hour
supermarket, pharmacy, pizza delivery, post office, bank, and dry
cleaners. The Disney vacation homes are also within a 40 minutes drive
to over 200 golf courses. The location is ideal for enjoying Disney
World and all the other attractions of the Orlando area.
I started out by talking about the price advantage
of a vacation rental home so let’s finish with that, because this is the
best part. The three-bedroom home I mentioned above starts at only $130
per night. During the summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day and
the last 2 weeks of October) the price is $140 per night. If you plan to
come during the holiday season (Christmas, Spring Break, Thanksgiving
and the 4th of July) the price goes up to $150.
You can check around but I doubt if any hotel will
give you so much space and amenities for only $130 per night. If you
plan to enjoy your vacation or holiday with a large group, like two
families together, then the savings offered by a rental home are even
greater.
As with most good opportunities, the more advance
planning you do the greater will be your saving. It is best to make your
reservations in advance to be sure of getting the rental home that is
right for you. Some of the choicest rental homes are booked-out one
year in advance. Look around the site, choose the home that fits your
needs and reserve now. If you have any questions, just give us a ring
and we will be happy to help you out.
