Orlando Vacation Home Rentals:  Everything you need to enjoy your Disney Vacation

Savvy vacation goers in Orlando have been flocking to vacation home rentals as their accommodations choice, and that is why the area offers a great variety of homes to choose from. In case you are wondering what the big attraction of vacation home rentals (as opposed to staying in a hotel or other resort) is, I would like to point out the advantages of rental homes. 

I always tell people that you don’t live in one room, so why spend your vacation in one room? Think about it.  When you are on vacation you want to enjoy something that is better than your normal existence.  However if you try to cram everyone into one or two hotel rooms, then you lose some of the comfort and convenience that you have at home. 

So, the first major advantage of a vacation home rental is that you get all the space that you need, and probably may end up with something that outdoes your real home.  You can get a rental home near Disney World and the other Orlando attractions with two to seven bedrooms.  The homes are new, luxurious and fully equipped.  Most of them have private, screened swimming pools, and some even have private spas and game rooms. 

All of the homes are fully equipped. The equipment includes Cable TV and entertainment systems, linens, towels, a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. Also included are dishes and utensils, pots and pans. Most homes have a garage for your use. There are also washer and dryers, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. 

You end up with a home-away-from-home.  You can come and go when you please. You can enjoy a swim in your own pool. Take a snack or a meal when you want to do it, and you are not bound by a hotel schedule. 

The locations of the homes are also another important consideration. You can get a rental home that is only a five to ten minute drive from Disney World. For example, a home in the Indian Creek Community puts you within ten minutes of all the Disney theme parks, 

This makes it particularly convenient to explore the parks as they open, return home for an afternoon rest and meal break and then head back for the fireworks display. Most other major Orlando attractions, such as Universal and Sea-World, are only 20-25 minutes away. In addition, within a mile are shops and excellent restaurants. This kind of convenience can’t be beat. 

Price and economy is another important advantage of getting a vacation home rental instead of a hotel.  Would you like to have three bedrooms, just like you have at home?  Well, that’s no problem because a three bedroom, fully equipped vacation rental starts at $130 per night during the low season and rents for $150 per night during the holiday season.  If you are coming with your whole family or combining with another family then the per-person costs are truly attractive.
